YWCA South Florida

YWCA South Florida is a non-profit organization based in Miami, Florida. With a staff of 46 employees, it has a history reaching back over 160 years, making it one of the oldest and largest women’s organizations in the United States. YWCA South Florida focuses its efforts on eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. Their work centers on three key areas: racial justice and civil rights, empowerment and economic advancement of women and girls, and health and safety of women and girls. They offer a variety of services and programming aimed at addressing these issues and generating institutional change. YWCA South Florida has a long history of serving over 2 million women, girls, and their families, advocating for progress on critical social issues ranging from voting rights to affordable housing.
