Who is UNC Charlotte School of Data Science
UNC Charlotte School of Data Science is a higher education institution located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The school is comprised of 20 employees. As a collaborative effort between four colleges, UNC Charlotte's School of Data Science (SDS) focuses on fostering innovation in data science education and research. The school is rapidly expanding, boasting over 500 graduate students, 75 full-time faculty members, and a growing network of over 500 alumni. UNC Charlotte School of Data Science offers a unique educational experience. The school is home to the only Bachelor’s of Science in Data Science program in the state of North Carolina. In addition, SDS offers two interdisciplinary graduate programs: Data Science and Business Analytics, and Health Informatics and Analytics. Recognized as the first School of Data Science in the Carolinas, SDS is rapidly becoming a leader in data science education and research within the region.
