The Emerson Channel

The Emerson Channel is a television network based in Boston, Massachusetts. It is a part of Emerson College's Media Technologies and Production department and employs approximately 39 individuals. Emchan was founded in 1999 and boasts a dedicated team of student employees who actively contribute to all aspects of television production. The Emerson Channel focuses on providing students with hands-on experience in various stages of filmmaking. They produce a diverse range of content, including 12-14 studio and field shows, along with coverage of 80 live sporting events. This exposure allows students to develop valuable skills in development, crew and cast hiring, pre-production, on-set production, and post-production.
