Emerson College is a private institution located in Boston, Massachusetts. Founded in 1880, the college has grown to employ 14 people and generates $50 million in annual revenue. Emerson College offers an online Master of Science in Communication Disorders program known as Speech@Emerson. This program is designed for aspiring speech-language pathologists (SLPs) and provides a curriculum based on evidence-based research and in-person clinical training. The program aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with communication disorders or differences. Speech@Emerson's curriculum is identical to the college's on-campus program, which is accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Students can complete the program in as few as 20 months and can choose to study full-time or part-time. The program features live, online classes with experienced faculty and collaborative clinical placements at sites across the country.
