Sound and Image Media Studios

Sound and Image Media Studios (SIMS) is a small studio located within the Brandeis University library in Waltham, Massachusetts. With a team of four employees, SIMS is committed to providing comprehensive training and support to the entire Brandeis community. SIMS offers a range of resources and services related to multimedia production. These include video production, audio production, digital photography, graphic design, and animation. Students, faculty, and staff can utilize the studio's production equipment, available for loan, and access editing/design software on their computers. The studio prides itself on its student-staffed support system. Walk-in assistance and troubleshooting are readily available, along with in-depth consultations and personalized tutoring sessions by appointment. SIMS also welcomes requests for training sessions tailored to specific needs within the Brandeis community.
