Who is Serra International
Serra International is a non-profit voluntary association based in Chicago, Illinois. With 18 employees, Serra International focuses on supporting vocations within the Catholic Church. The organization's mission is two-fold: promoting vocations to the priesthood and supporting religious life within the Catholic Church. Serra International achieves this through its network of 1,109 Serra Clubs spread across 46 countries. These clubs are sanctioned by local dioceses and are comprised of over 20,000 Catholic laymen and laywomen known as Serrans. Since its founding in 1935, Serra International has grown to become a globally recognized lay apostolate officially recognized by the Holy See.
