Who is San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency SFMTA
The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) is a department of the City and County of San Francisco, responsible for managing all ground transportation within the city. With over 5,700 employees, the SFMTA is one of San Francisco’s largest employers, with representation from 18 labor organizations. The SFMTA oversees a wide range of transportation services, including the San Francisco Municipal Railway (Muni), the nation's seventh largest public transit system.
