Queen City Robotics Alliance

Queen City Robotics Alliance (QCRA) is a non-profit organization based in Charlotte, North Carolina, established in 2014. With a team of 5 to 9 employees, QCRA has grown significantly since its inception as a single robotics team in 2011. The organization serves over 200 students across 14 robotics teams. QCRA provides interactive robotics programs designed to engage and educate students. Teams participate in the FIRST® robotics program, which challenges them to build and program robots for competitive events. These competitions foster teamwork, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of STEM principles. In addition to team activities, QCRA hosts public events that draw thousands of attendees annually, showcasing the excitement and potential of robotics. QCRA's approach to robotics education goes beyond technical skills. Each team operates like a business, teaching students valuable lessons in leadership, project management, and communication.
