PINELANDS PRESERVATION ALLIANCE

Pinelands Preservation Alliance is a nonprofit organization based in Southampton, New Jersey. The organization is driven by volunteers and has 17 employees. Pinelands Preservation Alliance is dedicated to protecting the New Jersey Pinelands National Reserve through various initiatives. These include Pinelands Adventures, an outdoor recreation program promoting public understanding and appreciation of the Pinelands; Rancocas Creek Farm, a sustainable, chemical-free farm connected to the organization's conservation mission; AccessNature, a movement advocating for increased open space accessibility for everyone; and the Landscape Makeover Program, which transforms lawns and outdated stormwater systems into native habitats. The organization works to acquire land and development rights through partnerships with private and public conservation agencies. Additionally, they strive to ensure justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in their workforce and initiatives, aiming to provide equal access to recreation, clean air, water, and the scenic beauty of the Pinelands.
