Who is New England Innocence Project
The New England Innocence Project (NEIP) is an independent non-profit organization based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. With 21 employees, NEIP is dedicated to addressing wrongful convictions within the criminal justice system in the Northeastern United States. NEIP provides pro bono legal and investigative services to individuals who believe their convictions may be unjust. They accept cases involving both DNA evidence and non-DNA issues across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Maine.
