Monument Lab

Monument Lab is an independent public art and history studio located in Philadelphia. Founded in 2012 by Paul Farber and Ken Lum, the organization employs 28 people and generates annual revenue of $2.5 million. Monument Lab collaborates with artists, students, activists, municipal agencies, and cultural institutions to explore public engagement and collective memory through innovative approaches. Monument Lab offers a range of projects and initiatives, including citywide art exhibitions, site-specific commissions, participatory research programs, a national fellows program, a web bulletin, and a podcast.
