Metro21 Smart Cities Institute

Metro21 Smart Cities Institute is a research institute based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Operated as part of Carnegie Mellon University, Metro21 is a multi-disciplinary initiative, bringing together expertise from various colleges, including Engineering, Public Policy and Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, and Fine Arts. Metro21 focuses on researching, developing, and deploying innovative solutions to address the challenges faced by metropolitan areas.
