Methodist Justice Ministry

Methodist Justice Ministry (MJM) is a non-profit organization based in Fort Worth, Texas. With a team of four employees, MJM has been serving families in the region for over a decade. MJM provides legal assistance to families facing domestic violence and abuse. They specialize in obtaining court orders to protect individuals from harm, secure custody arrangements, and ensure financial and medical support for children. Their legal team of licensed attorneys also enforces these protections by filing motions for contempt and pursuing legal action against abusers who violate court orders. Since 2017, MJM has expanded its service area to include Johnson County and Parker County, reaching more families in need. They partner with various service providers, including the Alliance for Children, Tarrant County Child Protective Services, the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office, and the Fort Worth Police Department, to connect with individuals seeking legal protection.
