Who is Laborers Annuity and Benefit Fund of Chicago
The Laborers Annuity and Benefit Fund of Chicago, also known as LABF, is an organization based in Chicago, Illinois. The LABF is a public fund established in 1935 with the mission of providing retirement and disability benefits to eligible employees. The LABF serves employees of the City of Chicago, the Board of Education, and three City of Chicago retirement boards who work in labor-related roles. It manages over $1.3 billion in investment assets for more than 8,000 members. LABORERS’ Annuity and Benefit Fund of Chicago is governed by an eight-member Board of Trustees and has approximately 20 full-time staff members dedicated to managing the fund and serving its members.
