KING Kids

KING Kids is a non-profit foundation based in New York, New York. Founded in 2017, the organization is a spin-off of the successful startup Kids in the Game, which focused on providing sports programming for New York City youth. With a small team of three employees, KING Kids leverages its experience and network to address inequalities in opportunity faced by children in the city. The foundation's mission is to provide equal opportunities for all kids through a variety of programs. To date, KING Kids has awarded over 100 scholarships for summer camps, sports programs, and after-school activities. In addition to scholarships, the organization also develops and implements unique programming aimed at enhancing the overall development of children. KING Kids differentiates itself by focusing specifically on addressing the issue of inequality in opportunities available to children in New York City. By combining scholarship programs with innovative programming, the foundation strives to create a more equitable playing field for all young people.
