Global Macro Team

Global Macro Team is a student-led organization based in Austin, Texas. It operates as a non-profit with a team of 10 employees. The organization focuses on international financial research, analyzing global affairs through an interdisciplinary lens that incorporates history, economics, and politics. Their work involves rigorously researching current events, forecasting potential future outcomes based on economic and historical patterns, and identifying investment opportunities related to their research. Global Macro Team offers its members the opportunity to gain expertise in international affairs through collaborative research, analysis, and presentation development. Global Macro Team is divided into three multidisciplinary research groups, each dedicated to a significant global topic and led by experienced Senior Fellows and mentors. Their research often encompasses international investments such as equities in emerging markets, bonds from foreign countries, and ETFs and mutual funds from respected macroeconomic hedge funds.
