Diocese of La Crosse

The Diocese of La Crosse is a religious organization based in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Established in 1868, the diocese serves a population of 950,000 people, including 150,000 Roman Catholics across 159 parishes. With 78 employees, the diocese operates within nineteen counties in the west and central part of Wisconsin, bordered by the Mississippi and Wisconsin Rivers. The Diocese of La Crosse focuses on sacramental worship, teaching the Catholic faith, and serving the needs of the community. They strive to build up the Kingdom of God through recognizing the Spirit of God in one another, promoting mutual respect and honor, and encouraging vocations, marriage and family life, sacred worship, and a life dedicated to sainthood.
