Who is Cornell Asian Alumni Association Inc
The Cornell Asian Alumni Association, Inc. (CAAA) is a non-profit organization based in Ithaca, New York. The organization, which has three employees, focuses on supporting the welfare and advancement of Cornell University's extensive Asian alumni network and its current student body of Asian heritage. CAAA provides a variety of services and programs for Cornell students, alumni, and community members. These include the annual Pan-Asian Banquet and Diwali Celebration, as well as social gatherings, educational workshops, and networking opportunities. The organization also sponsors programs addressing issues of importance to the Asian community, such as combating anti-Asian bias and violence. In addition to its event programming, CAAA has made significant contributions to Cornell University. Through endowed fellowships and scholarships, the organization supports current students of Asian ancestry. CAAA has also played a key role in the development and funding of the University's Asian / Asian American Student Center (A3C).
