AutismUp

AutismUp is a not-for-profit organization based in Rochester, New York. With over 40 employees, AutismUp is dedicated to supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families in the Greater Rochester area. Founded in 2004, the organization has grown to include more than 3,700 member households. AutismUp offers a comprehensive range of programs and services tailored to the specific needs of individuals with ASD and their families. These include customized social skill, readiness skill, supported fitness and recreation, and sensory integration programs. Additionally, AutismUp provides navigation, training, and support services for parents, caregivers, siblings, first responders, and professionals. The organization is a founding partner of the Golisano Autism Center (GAC), a state-of-the-art facility offering innovative programs and equipment in a safe, sensory-friendly environment. The GAC houses AutismUp's Multi-Sensory Learning Environment, providing skill development classes designed to be fun, fitness-focused, and socially engaging.
