Austin Classical Guitar

Austin Classical Guitar (ACG) is a non-profit organization based in Austin, Texas. Founded in 1990 and gaining 501(c)(3) status in 1996, ACG has grown to employ 10 people. ACG is dedicated to advancing the classical guitar through two main avenues: presenting concerts and providing education. The organization hosts close to 100 concerts annually, showcasing acclaimed international and local guitarists, reaching thousands of audience members. ACG Education, a core program, offers classical guitar instruction to thousands of students across Texas and beyond. ACG Education has developed a comprehensive online curriculum, GuitarCurriculum.com, used by hundreds of teachers worldwide, and hosts three-day Teacher Training Workshops in various locations throughout the United States.
